Domain Authority is an important metric developed by Moz. It is the score that predicts how well a website is capable to rank on SERP’s i.e. on Search Engine Results Pages.
It calculates the authority for the entire domain. So the efforts should be taken consistently to make the score higher.
Higher the score, greater is the ability of the website to rank.
The maximum scale is 100 and it starts from 1.
Websites like Wikipedia or Google have a DA score close to 100.
Generally, new websites start their SEO journey with the score of 1.
Domain Rating is the similar metric to Domain Authority.
The only difference is that DR is introduced by Ahrefs while DA is given by Moz.
It takes similar steps to improve the Domain Rating score of your website.
You should always try to keep the DR score of your website higher than your competitor in order to beat them.
Moz has developed this important metric so that the SEO community can predict how well the individual page can rank.
As the name suggests, it focuses on the potential of the page.
The score scales from 1 to 100, 100 being the best.
“URL Rating” measures the strength of a target URL’s backlink profile and the likelihood that the URL will rank high in Google.
UR is measured on a logarithmic scale from 1 to 100, with the latter being the strongest.
Moz has a similar metric to our URL Rating called Page Authority, which predicts the likelihood of a page ranking high in Google.
This metric by Majestic tells how influential the link is. The score depends on the number of domains that are pointing towards it.
More the number of sites link to it, more is the Citation Flow Score.
Trust Flow is the metric given by Majestic. This is an important metric as it determines the trustworthiness of the website.
It determines how trustworthy the website is on the basis of the quality of the backlinks referring to the website.
In most of the cases, the TF score is less than the CF score. This is because the website generally has plenty of backlinks which increase the CF score, but it does not necessarily have the quality and trust.
